Miscellaneous Pathos
Last night someone tried to steal one of my domains. They weren't successful, but it's still unfortunate that people are that base as to feel the need to take things that don't belong to them, particularly when they didn't even ask first (who knows? I might have been willing to sell it if they had asked, but they didn't).

It really irks me.

"Caroline, everything is broken."

We're moving today at work — chaos upon chaos, as person after person with box after box shuffles around, and I just sit trembling, hoping that myself, and my books, and my little 12 inch ficus tree (which struggles daily to survive) all make it into the new suite okay, with nothing lost or broken or left behind.

"but some things cannot be trusted...."

Some work friends of mine went out last night for beer and farewells to a couple of project managers who are leaving. I felt too tired to go along at the time, but one of my friends has been in training for the last week and a half, and I've missed the opportunity to talk to her. I sort of regret giving up the chance to catch up on things, but there's always "tomorrow."

"Fight it as long as you can, but even the spinning world seems to be turning away."
