Because of my current in-between-project work status, and the consequent lack of many meetings to attend but overflow of documents and presentations to write and review, I decided to work from home both Thursday and Friday.

When you sit in your home for that long, you begin to notice the things that bug you. In my case, irritants included:

  • the large pile of boxes and other stuff "hidden" under my loft bed
  • a noticeable cat odor
  • the fact that when I listened to MP3's or streaming audio, I only heard them through my computer speakers and not my stereo
  • an accumulation of washed dishes that needed to be put away

  • The dishes were easy.

The computer to stereo wiring was fun.

And the rest of it, well, I spent several hours, as soon as I was done with work Friday, taking care of that. When all was said and done, I'd given the bathroom a half-cleaning, given the closet a thorough reorganization (to make room for the under-the-bed stuff), and unpacked one of the last three boxes which remained.

It's time for fun, now, and I'd talked to a friend about going to a club tonight with her and a neighbor. I don't know for sure if that's still on, but I should hear something from her in a little while.
