Free toque
So, wow, I didn't realize how long today had been:

1) I woke up late, givent hat I'd been given today and tomorrrow off to do what I want, since the client is not ready for me yet.

2) I checked with my bank to see if they were ready for me to finish setting up my account. They weren't.

3) I went shopping at Pacific Centre, because I wanted to buy a couple of sweaters because it was impressively cold today, I got a free toque with my purchase. I felt realy officially Canadian because of it. It's a really nice hat — black and fleecy and warm. No ear flaps, but apparently to people in Vancouver at least, it doesn't really matter. A toque is a toque.

4) I went aparentment hunting. I was walking around, checking out the Yaletown area, and I've decided that it's definitely someplace that I would live in.

5) I checked out a couple of places specifically which were renting. There's a studio loft at Seymour and Richards which I really want. It's small, but the neighborhood is great, and it's a two story loft (the bedroom and washer/dryer and closet sort of float above everything else) with a great view of Yaletown, not to mention two public access patios on the 4th floor and a rooftop deck on the 13th floor that's available to all-you-people-who-are-coming-to-visitness. It's a great place. Provided it's not too expensive, I'll probably accept it tomorrow.

6) I rode the SkyTrain to my client office. The SkyTrain is only a couple of blocks from my desired apartment, but about a half mile from the office. It'll keep me in shape though, right?

7) I came back to my hotel to find that they're shooting the Fantastic Four movie across the street. Pretty cool in my opinion. They're still shooting at 1:30am, by the way.

Anyway, that's that for today. Lots of stuff going on.
