Scavenger Hunting
So I mentioned Wednesday that bumping into the blind girl at the SkyTrain station didn't really count as noteworthy. As if to spite me, she's been on my train car every day since. Her dog thinks I smell like cat. She's very cute (the girl, not the dog — well, the dog is cool too, but . . . oh, nevermind). Anyway, it's interesting when my little universe suddenly develops that degree of consistency.

I've developed a new hobby — Flickr scavenger hunting.

Here are some of the things that make Vancouver home, courtesy of all kinds of people:

The Orpheum, and my building

A crepe from Cafe Crepe

The SkyTrain station and Shoppers Drug Mart where I bought my spider drugs

A SkyTrain car

Latte art at Caffe Artigiano

City where tuna is pink and salmon is red

The Penthouse Club, which I can see out my window

Carlos & Bud's Tex-Mex(good beer and . . . questionable Tex-Mex food)

The Indonesian restaurant

Leaf patterns in the sidewalks

Customs and Immigration at YVR airport

The best part of the SkyTrain route (where it turns the corner, goes down an incline, accelerates, and sails around the opposite turn)

Granville St SkyTrain station

The big escalator at the Granville station
The big escalator at the Granville station, again

Alright, kids, now it's your turn.
