On the SkyTrain back from work tonight, a group of teenagers was talking about Ryan Stiles on the Drew Carey Show.
Guy 1: Man, that guy is so funny.
Girl: Drew Carey is a funny show.
Guy 2: That's a Canadian show, right?
Guy 3: The two guys on there are I think.
Guy 2: Not Drew Carey?
Guy 1: No, dipshit, he's from Cleveland.
Guy 2: No shit? I would have never guessed.
Girl: Yeah. Especially since the show is set in . . . uh . . . Cleveland.
Guy 2: Shut up. Anyway, man, I miss the "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" show. That was a funny show. I haven't seen that in forever.
Girl: Except, you know? I like the other host better. The first one.
Guy 3: Oh, the British guy? Yeah, he was good. Drew Carey kind of sucks in comparison. They need, like, a Canadian host.
Guy 1: Oh, like Robin Williams? He's Canadian.
Guy 2: Yeah. He would rock.
Girl: Uh, you know? I don't think Robin Williams is Canadian. I think he just lives here.
Guy 1: Oh. Jim Carrey then?
Girl: Yeah, he's Canadian.
Guy 3: Yeah, but he got his US citizenship.
Guy 2: *That's* why he stopped being funny.
Girl: Yeah, funny is an exclusively Canadian concept right?
Guy 1: Right? Mike Myers. That's one funny freakin' Canadian.
Girl: Totally.
