My iPod bends time!
It's not exactly a scientific experiment, but it's happened enough days that I'm certain of it: when I walk to work listening to my iPod, I typically get to the office about five minutes early, whereas if I commute to the soundtrack of birds, buses, and boats, I don't arrive until right at 8am.
I could understand maybe walking a little faster if I have a tune to march to, so to speak, but five minutes out of 25 or so total walking minutes is pretty significant (20% faster?).
Or maybe I subconsciously tend to only listen to it on days when I'm moving faster anyway? Or on days when I tend to be running more on time anyway?
Those all sound stupid compared to the time-bending theory. . . .
