Towed
So, life is full of first times. First time to ride a bike. First kiss. First apartment. First job.

And first car towing.

ParkingTicket

I guess it was the hard way to learn that the minimum distance that must be left between one's car and the nearest corner or sidewalk at an intersection in Vancouver is 6 meters. 6 meters! That's like half the width of the block. Two whole cars, nearly. I can't believe people actually leave that much space. Or maybe they don't, and the parking police simply use their discretion on which cars are too close to the corner for their tastes, always knowing that practically anything they're in the mood for is covered by the law.
