It's Categorical
Since it's been a fair amount of time since i've made any significant enhancements to the old web engine (and since, when I ask friends and acquaintances whether I should abandon the custom engine altogether, the votes still weigh heavier on the "keep it" side, leaving me to engineer such things on my own), I decided it was time for something new, and have now added category functionality to the site engine.
Still getting some bugs out, but I think it's ready for prime time.
