No Brainer
At a coffee shop this afternoon I saw a poster for a talk being held at a local church:
Hmm, let's see. Considering it's a NOVEL, defined by dictionary.com as "A fictional prose narrative of considerable length, typically having a plot that is unfolded by the actions, speech, and thoughts of the characters," I don't know — what do you think?

To re-cast a self-declared work of fiction as a true document of history for the sole purpose of self-righteously pointing out all of its probable falsehoods is pretty damn pathetic, in my opinion. You know what? That Holden Caulfield clown? He wasn't real, either.
