Generation Gap
Brandon: Oh, Railroad Tycoon, yeah I remember that game! Back in like the EGA graphics days.
Matt: On the PC? Yeah it was one of my very favourites. Played it for hours and hours.
Brandon: I never really got it.
Matt: Oh?
Brandon: Well, it was a copy I got on a floppy disk from a friend, and I didn't have the instruction book or anything, so I couldn't figure out what the keystrokes were to lay track or any of that. But it seemed like it would be cool if I knew how to play it.
Teenage Guy who'd been eavesdropping: Why didn't you just look it up?
Brandon: Huh?
Teenage Guy: The rules. Why didn't you just look them up on the internet?
Brandon: . . .
Matt: . . .
Brandon: Um, back then there was no internet.
Teenage Guy: . . .
Brandon: . . .
Teenage Guy: Oh. [walks away, looking a little flustered]
Brandon: [to Matt] Did you suddenly feel really old, too, just then?
