Fortune Cookies
In principle, fortune cookies should offend all my purist sentiments: they're not really Chinese (having been invented in New York), there's no true predictive value in them, and they're kind of asilly. I can't resist the things, though, and get particularly excited when the fortune seems to have some valuable truth or noteworthy coincidence to it. So I decided today to compile the fortunes I've gotten in one place (so I can finally do something with all those little strips of paper lying around everywhere at least).
